On Friday 9th June, PSG colleagues Maria Merry, Pearl Belcher and Marcus Forsey travelled to Bath Cats & Dogs Home to participate in the annual kennel break challenge. Locked inside a kennel with nothing but a desk, a laptop and a phone, the goal was to raise £1,000 within two hours by calling friends, clients and anyone they could think of and ask them to pledge in order to escape. Dressed up as Scooby Doo characters, the team enjoyed meeting some four legged residents, eating dog biscuits as well as birthday cake to celebrate Maria’s birthday, all whilst making as many calls and emails as possible to reach their target. With only seconds to go, a lot of panic and still £10 short, the team were able to pull it off and achieved their target just in the nick of time. It was a fantastic couple of hours and the team had alot of fun, but most importantly they raised a great amount of money to help rehabilitate and re-home the 173 dogs, cats and small animals currently in the care of BCDH.
Thanks to your support, the total now stands at an incredible £1,258.
All of us at PSG would like to offer a huge thank you to everyone who helped raise this money. Here are some pictures taken on the day.
